A behind the scenes gif of some live political reporting for a TV news package

I have years of experience in current affairs TV working on some of the most important stories of the 2020s for the BBC and others.

QUESTION TIME

For two years I was the researcher on the BBC’s flagship political debate programme Question Time. I was responsible for booking high profile panellists, writing briefs and live fact-checking. I travelled with the programme every week covering some of the most important stories of the past few years: Covid-19, the war in Ukraine, two changes of government and more.

During the 2024 General Election, ITN sent me to the new seat of Mid Dunbartonshire as part of their team of stringers covering the election result as it happened.

Election coverage

Palestine protest

I covered the national rally for Palestine in response to President Trump’s plan to permanently resettle Palestinians away from Gaza. Interviewed Palestinian journalists and campaigners like Jeremy Corbyn, Zarah Sultana and Juliet Stevenson.

Syrian Christians in London

As part of my degree at City, I made this TV package about London’s Syrian Christian community, and their hopes and fears for Christmas in the week the Assad regime fell.

While my experience is mainly in politics and current affairs, I love all forms of broadcast journalism and think there will still be a place for high quality TV news in the future. I’d like to branch out from Westminster and get into longer form documentary making for television and beyond.
